Wired for International Communication
Dr Esther Gutierrez Eugenio is an an author, speaker and leading expert in language education and international communication.
Originally from a monolingual family in Spain, as a kid she used to struggle with language and was told she would never be able to read or write properly.
She did not only learn how to read and write, but she also went on to studying 9 languages, training as a professional translator and conference interpreter, and leading international teams at some of the world's most global organisations, such as the United Nations and Procter & Gamble.
During her PhD in Language Education, she became fascinated by the intersection between language, communication and the brain. After 10 years observing how high-level diplomats and executives communicate internationally, she realised their effectiveness as communicators lied greatly on how their brains were specifically wired to connect across languages and borders.
She is now passionately sharing the neuroscience behind great international communicators - so anyone can hack their brain and unlock the kind of communication that opens doors, builds bridges and shortens distances between peoples all around the world.
